I’m Alex Ferreira, a freelance Sport and Outdoor photographer from Portugal, currently based in the Swiss Alps.
My work focuses on documenting life in motion — from skiers and snowboarders to outdoor athletes and mountain adventures.
I’m drawn to authentic storytelling: athletes in their element, quiet moments in wild places, and the raw energy of being outdoors. Whether shooting in snow-covered mountains or along tropical coastlines, my goal is always the same — to create images that feel real, lived, and full of movement.
Being close to the sports I photograph is an essential part of my process. I spend much of my time in the mountains riding, exploring, and connecting with the communities that shape outdoor culture.
Today I collaborate with brands, tourism boards, athletes, and outdoor projects looking for authentic visual storytelling rooted in adventure and real experiences.
